March 2025: Music In Me Studio

Updated: May 5

Last month, we had a full day of Inner Circles! Congratulations to all our students and teachers in shows, auditioning, and more. This month, we prepare for our Spring Recital!

Practicing Kindness...

We are entering a season of the year when students are auditioning for shows, preparing for

tech weeks, practicing for talent shows, ready for spring and the end of the school year or

graduation, and the list goes on and on.

During this season, it can be really easy to allow ourselves to get frustrated with those around

us who may not move at the same speed, may have different beliefs or skill levels, and may be

experiencing less sleep at the same time we’re experiencing less sleep.

How you speak to yourself matters. So speak kindness.

In those moments, we can practice kindness by taking a breath before speaking to make sure

we intend to say what we’re saying. We can keep in mind that we don’t always know what

others are experiencing and offer them grace. We can choose to stay connected with others even when we have different opinions, because our differences are just as important as the things we have in common.

“We can practice kindness to ourselves by setting aside time daily for quiet time, for practice, and for taking care of ourselves.”

It's a crazy race, but it’s worth it!

Roses to represent the growth and beauty in life when we practice kindness.

Practice kindness today and everyday - if fact, it is your choice to do so.

In order to keep our students, staff, and teachers safe, we take extra care of our students, teachers, and families. We foster transparency between teachers and parents with office staff. We also offer an open-door policy for parents, which means that they’re
always invited to sit in on their child’s lessons.
